The Tappen restaurant is located in the quaint, newly restored, historic stone Tappen building. Originally built back in the 1600s, the building has acted as a many different home dwellings, the first post office, and contained many of the oldest town records (these were later saved by Cornelius Tappen during the burning of Kingston in 1777).
