Sammie's BBQ & Smoke House

Our barbeque is slowly smoked over oak and hardwood coals for hours. This is the traditional way it's been done in Eastern North Carolina for hundreds of years. No shortcuts with gas and electricity, just time honored methods that give homage to our past and traditions. We cook the whole hog to give you the rich flavors you can only obtain by combining the different cuts of the pig roasted over wood coals. Yep, this is the real deal!
